Attendance
If a member is absent for 4 weeks without notifying Kidz R Us of a valid reason, then the membership would cease. We would need to be advised of holidays booked or illness and fees must be paid monthly regardless of a lack of attendance. This payment is necessary to pay the running costs of our building and costumes for our many productions. If long term illness occurs consideration is applicable.
Membership Become A Member [PDF]
Annual membership fees must be paid the first week of June (unless a child begins during the year and then the fee is due on completing membership). Address and telephone numbers must be kept up to date. Membership will not become official until a Membership Form [PDF] is signed. The form must be returned and signed as all our shows are filmed and due to many public appearances photographs are regularly taken.
Fees
Members pay monthly for both Dance and Drama which is calculated over fifty weeks of the year. Payment falls on the first week of every month.
In-House Rules
Whilst on the premises, all staff and members must wear Kidz R Us T-shirts so that both may be easily identifiable. (T-Shirt Order Form [PDF])
Sensible shoes must be worn in the building.
Kidz R Us cannot be held responsible for any personal items lost on the premises. However if a member should mislay anything, please do not hesitate to ask if it could be in the ‘lost property box.’
We do not condone the use of foul language on our premises and bullying will not be tolerated.
Kidz R Us belongs to its members so therefore we expect that the building is treated with respect and all rubbish disposed of in our recycling facilities.
Shows
Members must purchase their own black and/or white daps as requested for shows. These can be purchased easily and are around £2 -£3.
Whilst in costume, all members are asked to refrain from drinking anything but water and no food must be consumed.
No jewellery to be worn during a show unless it is part of the costume.
It is expected that all members must attend their dress rehearsal prior to a show, due to health and safety reasons.
All volunteers to wear correct coloured T-shirts for their designated areas.
Due to our child protection policy, on arrival for dress rehearsal or performance, parents or guardians are not permitted to enter the dressing rooms unless they are on the list of volunteers for that time and also dressed appropriately in a Kidz R Us T-shirt. (T-Shirt Order Form [PDF])
All members and parents must abide by these rules.
